Ordinary plug/jack connections can become unstable, resulting in annoying static and signal loss. Also many cables don't protect their solder points adequately so that that over time defects creep in.

Planet Waves Cables have special positive connection plugs with strain relief at the most critical points, and provide an ultra-clean signal that is unmatched. Each plug is plated with 24-karat gold and has 8 compression springs that allow the plug to positively lock into the jack, eliminating any annoying static. The plugs also have rigid plastic molded directly over a copper cylinder surrounding the solder points for maximum protection. A durable, ergonomically shaped plug housing is then overmolded throughout the plug, offering supreme strain relief.

  • 24 carat gold-plated plugs with 8 patented compression springs to ensure positive connection into standard 1/4 inch (6.35mm) jacks.
  • Double-insulated/double-shielded cable design provides cleanest signal available while eliminating hum and triboelectric noise.
  • Exclusive Planet Waves overmolded connectors provide extra protection with unmatched strain relief.
  • Patent-pending planet waves elastic cable tie included.
