The Gitane GJ-15 Cigano is a very impressive gypsy jazz guitar for its price. A full and powerful sound. A matt finish - which undoubtedly keeps costs down - but which is also extremely attractive and enhances the grain and colour of the woods.

This is a replica of the early 1930-s Maccaferri-Selmer D-hole guitar as played by the Hot Club of France.

  • Solid Sitka spruce top
  • Beautiful Asian rosewood back and sides
  • Short 636mm scale, D-hole design with traditional soundhole rosette
  • Nato neck with 12th fret join and truss rod reinforcement and adjustment
  • Rosewood radiussed fingerboard extending to 24 frets
  • Deep horizontal cutaway
  • Black plastic body binding
  • Traditional zero fret, with bone string guide
  • Mahogany peghead overlay with Cigano logo
  • Traditional brass tailpiece with plastic insert
  • Accurate gold-plated tuners with 14:1 ratio
  • Nut width 1 7/8 / 48mm
  • Loop or ball end strings

Moustache bridge ends and allen key (to adjust truss rod) supplied.
