Athletic Neck Support Stand

Athletic Guitar Stand with Neck Support

A fold flat stand suitable for all types of guitar including classical, acoustic, electric ect.

Each stand is 38cm high and has an adjustable neck (30cm) allowing it to be altered to fit each guitar.

There is a slight overhang to the sides and towards the rear of the stand when a guitar is placed on it. On an average classical guitar this overhang is about 4cm on each side and 6cm to the rear. The guitar, when resting in the padded support of the stand, will be about 8cm off the ground and the neck support, when fully extended will hold the neck 60cm above the base of the guitar, at the 8th fret of the classical guitar tested.

The supporting legs stand 27.5cm apart providing a very stable platform for the guitar. There are two rubber surrounds on each foot of the guitar stand, as shown in the picture. These prevent the stand from slipping and will not scratch the surface it is placed on. Each leg has a length of 38cm and is secured at a central point.

The stand has soft rubber padding at each point the guitar touches and the almost complete circle at the top of the neck support prevents the guitar from accidentally slipping.

The stand weighs 1.7kg creating a counterbalance to the guitar and a low centre of gravity preventing it from toppling over.

The base of the support funnels down from a depth of 14cm to 3.5cm allowing most types of guitar to sit in it with ease.
