Prudencio Saez Model 138 Classical Guitar - front Prudencio Saez are so proud of their their Model 138 that they give it the title "Concert" instrument. It has a solid spruce soundboard; bookmatched solid Indian rosewood back and sides; an ebony reinforced cedar neck with an ebony fingerboard; rosewood bridge and bindings; and special gold machine heads on a stylish carved headstock. I found that when playing the 138, the most striking feature was the very broad tonal range, making this a very expressive instrument. I have restrung the example we have for sale with Hannabach Silver Special high tension strings substituting their wound G for the normal plain nylon version. These strings give a little extra body to the bass and are as tonally responsive as the 138 is itself. Prudencio Saez set the action quite low for a guitar of this quality but this could easily be adjusted for the player who wanted to get just a little more volume from the guitar. We strongly recommend keeping this guitar in a hard case when not in use. Price: £925.00 See if this product qualifies for a discount under our Teacher and Student Discount Scheme |
