The 5P CW/CT is Alhambra's best-selling, mid-range, cutaway classical guitar . Typically fitted with Fishman Prefix Problend electronics but other options available to order.

The 5P comes in many variations: you can have it with a soundboard in either solid German spruce or solid red cedar, and you can choose from normal body size (5P CW) or the slim-line model (5P CT). Then there is a choice of electronics as well as left/right handed versions.

All the variations come with laminated Indian rosewood back and sides, a Spanish cedar neck with African ebony fingerboard, and gold plated machine heads.

The Alhambra 5P is built with a slightly narrower neck width than is standard for classical models so that the player who comes from a steel-string guitar background will feel more at home in the left hand.

The Fishman Prefix ProBlend which is typically fitted has both an under-saddle pickup and a pre-amp mounted condensor microphone to give a range of powerful natural amplified tones when recording or on stage. It features
