The 3C CW E1 is a great electro-acoustic cutaway classical guitar at an entry level price from Alhambra.

We try to keep both the Cedar and Spruce versions of this guitar in stock. The most popular configuration - the 3C CW E1 - comes with a factory installed Fishman Pickup and Pre-amp.

The 3C CW is built with the steel-string guitar player partially in mind as it has a slightly narrower neck width than is standard for classical models.

It also has position markers on the side of the neck.

All versions share the following features:

  • Laminated Mahogany back and sides

  • Indian Rosewood Fingerboard
  • Nickel plated machine heads

The Fishman electronics feature:

  • Acoustic Matrix(TM) advanced co-polymer under-saddle pick up
  • Volume control

  • Low battery warning

When played through a good quality "acoustic" amplifier the 3C CW E1, with its Fishman pre-amp, produces a sound that it is hard to believe comes from a budget-priced electro-acoustic classical guitar.
