Alhambra 4P Classical Guitar - spruce front left Not surprisingly, it is Alhambra's most popular model. There is a choice of solid soundboards in spruce or cedar and all models come with laminated Indian rosewood back and sides. The fingerboard is ebony while the bridge and headstock veneer are rosewood again. The tuners are gold plated and there is a colourful rosette. The guitar is strung with D'Addario EXP very high tension strings. The spruce soundboard gives a sound which could be described as "cleaner" while the cedar soundboard one which is "richer" in tone. Which is "best" is entirely a matter of personal preference. Personally I like the tonal mix you get with a spruce soundboard on Alhambra guitars which have an intrinscially rich Spanish sound. The voluntary reviewers on Harmony Central rated this instrument 9 out of 10 for sound quality and gave it an overall rating of 93%. Among the things they wrote - "This is a SUPERB guitar." "The setup was excellent" "customer support is superior. Better than most I dare say" "The tone just gets better on my 4P" "For a mid price spanish guitar, it represents real value for money" (Read the full reviews at reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Alhambra/4P/10/1)
The Alhambra 4P also comes in Cadete (3/4), and Requinto (1/2) sizes. We always recommend keeping a quality classical guitar in a case. Price includes VAT and next-day delvery. The Alhambra Brand
