 Liikanen Classical Guitar Knee Support, Tukeva The Liikanen Classical Guitar Support offers the optimum playing position along with improved stability. Keep your feet flat on the ground and lift the guitar body into position from the knee. For many players this should result in improved posture too - no more twisting and back-ache. Unlike most other guitar supports available, this wooden guitar support is adjustable for both height and angle. The medium( previously called "large") size giving a 14 - 16cms lift seems to fit almost everyone and comes in natural and black finishes (subject to availability). A large (previously called "extra-large" (17-20cms) size is sometimes available but is definitely only for the larger player. Please note: light suction pads are used to keep the guitar and the support in position. These have been tested and used on guitars with an extensive range of finishes but if you have an expensive french polished/shellac finish or if your guitar is finished with nitro-cellulose lacquer use of this product may cause some superficial marking. For this reason we would advise against its use with such instruments. We do sell suction cup protectors which come between the suction cups and the finish of the guitar.
