Liikanen H Model Classical Guitar, diagonal body

The H series is hand-built by Kauko Liikanen and his small team in his Finnish workshop. I know this guitar well having played one personally for the last 4 years. All H models have the LRS(R) system of soundboard brading and a french polished finish.

This guitar does not shout about its quality but hold it for a few moments and the attention to detail of this hand-built and hand finished instrument shows through. The fret ends are embedded in the ebony neck. The saddle is cut to enhance the intonation of individual strings and so is the nut. The rosette is beautifully chosen and the bindings and purflings, although understated in typical Liikanen fashion, are a delight.

The instrument is light in weight and yet has a surprisingly large dynamic range.

This is an instrument built for performance. It has all the dynamic range and tonal possibilities that come from the LRS(R) system coupled with an AAA grade soundboard. The french polished finish is impeccable.
