International Guitar Sales
1) Dispatch has to be in a Hard Case
We can only send guitars by courier if they are packed in a hard case. We want the guitar to arrive undamaged and the courier's insurers want the guitar to be properly packed if they are to provide cover. We sell a range of suitable cases at very competitive prices. Please make a selection when you buy your guitar.
2) Prices
Our prices are quoted at all times in pounds sterling (£). The actual price in other currencies will depend upon the method of payment and the rate of exchange applied by the buyer's credit card company or bank at the time payment is made. An estimate of the price in other currencies can be found at any time by using one of the many currency converters that can be found using Google.
The price we charge has to include VAT (at 17.5%) when we sell to customers in the UK and in other countries of the European Union. There are exceptional territories within Europe where we do not charge VAT such as the UK Channel Islands.
We do not charge VAT on sales to customers with a delivery address outside of the UK and Europe.
If you are not sure exactly what the price of your chosen guitar is in your country when using our web site please email or phone us.
3) Buyers Responsibility for Import Duties
Customers in countries outside of the UK are responsible for any import or customs duties in their own country. We cannot say what these will be or whether they will be charged at all. The customer should check with their own customs or tax authorities to determine if they will have to pay such duties.
4) Delivery Costs
We send guitars by insured courier services to almost everywhere. We use reputable international couriers with signed for and trackable services. Delivery times are rarely more than a few days.
We have standard charges to send to various countries based directly upon the fees we pay to the courier.
5) Payment methods
We always ask for payment in full before we send a guitar.
We are concerned to protect ourselves and all legitimate credit card holders from fraud and we hope our customers will understand and support us when we sometimes make security checks with their credit card companies or ask for supplementary proof of identity and address.
We accept payments in various standard ways.
a) By credit card to an address registered with the credit card company.
We accept most major credit cards. We will deliver guitars only to an address registered with the credit card company. We may ask for additional proof of identity and address.
b) By bank transfer
We are very happy to accept payments by bank transfer. Please ask us for our bank details. All costs of the transfer are to be paid by the customer.
c) By Paypal
If you want a Paypal invoice then please ask. We ask for an additional payment of 2.25% to cover Paypal's surcharge.
