Review of Liikanen Kantare LO58CW and I500C
"I particularly like the LO58CW. It has an excellent tone and a quite mellow character. It plays nicely. The nut is a bit wider than is usual on a 3/4 size guitar.
"It is worth the price for young students who have reached a high standard.
"The I500C has a very good and bright sound. It is well-finished and has good machine heads. The action is set quite high. It sounds Spanish in character but individual notes remain very clear. It is good value for the price.
"My own Burguet 2 series (costing about £250 more), is more mellow in its sound than the I500C but has 2 particular drawbacks - its soundboard feels very fragile and the machine heads feel cheap."
